Faith, Authority, Obedience, Power of Words - part 2
Faith is truth, truth is God’s Word, God’s Word is power, if our words (and thoughts and actions) are the same as God’s Word (obedience)…
Matthew 4:4 …It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.
Luke 8:11 The seed is the Word of God
Speak (sow) Life Giving Words
Proverbs 18: 20-21 A man’s [moral] self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth; and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil]. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].
Prayer:
Almighty God and Father,
We come before You with hearts full of praise, exalting the name of Jesus, our risen Lord and King. We celebrate the victory of His resurrection, declaring that He has conquered sin and death, and reigns in glory forevermore.
Father, we are in awe of the power displayed on that glorious morning when the stone was rolled away, and the grave could not hold Him. We thank You for this profound act of love, which has opened the way for us to have eternal life and a personal relationship with You.
As we honor Christ, may we also recognize Him as the King of kings and Lord of lords. We bow before His majesty, acknowledging His sovereignty over all creation. Let His resurrection inspire us to live as citizens of His Kingdom, reflecting His light and love in a world that desperately needs hope.
Empower us, O Lord, to proclaim the truth of the resurrection boldly. May we testify to the transforming power of Christ in our lives, declaring and sharing the joy of His victory with others. Help us to live in a manner worthy of His calling, serving with humility and grace, and pointing others to the eternal hope found in Him.
We rejoice in the promise that because He lives, we too shall live. May our hearts be filled with joy, our spirits uplifted, and our faith strengthened as we remember that Christ is alive, reigning now and forever.

How do we exercise authority, by being obedient to God (and His will)
Job 36: 10-11
He also opens their ears to instruction and discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity.
If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasantness and joy.
Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart
Revelation 12:11
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Humble yourself before God, respect His will (“fear of the Lord”). His promises come with obeying His principles (His ways- not rules).
Make sure what you are saying is in agreement with God. His desires should be your desires.
God has given us the authority to speak His words into reality. When we are in agreement with Him, we can move mountains.
Mark 11: 23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
Fear comes by hearing or using the words of the world. Love and Faith come from the Word of God. Both have the power of attraction.
You say fearful things, sin and sickness follow.
This can also be true of your other senses: hearing, seeing, feeling, etc fearful things.
The 5 senses are of flesh. We cannot trust in them, they can be influenced by worldly or not Godly things. But our senses were made by His Word, so His Word can also change the way we see etc. Renew your mind.
Romans 4: 17
…He speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed.
The invisible becomes visible, using words.
Hebrews 11:3
3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
Hebrews 1:3 ….and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power.
Isaiah 55:11
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
John 1 (also Gen 1)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome[a] it.
The same goes for speaking terrible things, curses. Like the children of Israel who spoke against God’s promise for them to take their land.
Joshua 5:6 For the people of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, until all the nation, the men of war who came out of Egypt, perished, because they did not obey the voice of the Lord; the Lord swore to them that he would not let them see the land that the Lord had sworn to their fathers to give to us, a land flowing with milk and honey.
We need: Obedience, Faith, fear of the Lord.
Not: Disobedience, curse, consequences.
Seeds (words) you've now sown.
Ephesians 4:29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
James 3:3-6 NLT
The tongue is a small thing that makes grand speeches. But a tiny spark can set a great forest on fire. And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.
James 3:10 NLT
And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!
1 Peter 3:10 NLT
If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies
Faith comes into play, you must believe God’s Words over everything else.
Remember when Jairus’ daughter was dying, and he ran to Jesus to come heal her? But she died before Jesus made it to the house, and when they got news, Jesus says ‘believe, do not be afraid’
Why, because fear is a liar, and steals our faith.
Mark 5: 35-36
Jesus did Not agree with the announced death, he countered it with ‘she’s only sleeping’.
Faith is life. Faith is health
(fear is death and sickness).
His Words satisfy our hunger and thirst, and are life giving.
Jeremiah 15:16
When your words came, I ate them;
they were my joy and my heart’s delight,
for I bear your name,
Lord God Almighty.
John 6: 33, 35, 63
33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.
35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.
Pursue, overtake, and recover all (from the enemy-who is here to steal kill and destroy)
Obedience, Power, Authority given to us by Jesus.
Luke 17: 21
Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Therefore, declare this with me:
I am the heir of God, and a joint heir with Jesus Christ, Who sits at His right hand. I have received a rich inheritance. I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. My Father loves me as He loved the Lord Jesus. My own wonderful Father is greater than all. Yes, I am blessed with heaven's best, on earth as it is in heaven.
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Ephesians 3:20
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Ephesians 6:10-20
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with
the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
Philippians 4: 13
I can do all this through him who gives me strength
Prayer:
Father, may You be hallowed and exalted.
I trust in Your limitless power and love.
Lord, I ask for breakthroughs in every area where I feel stuck or overwhelmed. Release me from any chains of fear, doubt, or discouragement that hinder my progress. Open doors that no man can shut, and guide me along the path You have set for me. I declare that I am more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens me.
May Your favor surround me like a shield, and may I experience the fullness of Your joy and peace. Help me to be a blessing to others, reflecting Your love and grace in all that I do.
Thank You, Lord, for the blessings that are yet to come. I trust in Your perfect timing and plan for my life. May I always remember to give You the glory for every blessing.
